Canada has a reputation problem.
We’re nice. We’re polite. We apologize too much.
And although that image is comforting… It’s also incomplete.
This is a country that’s main sport is where people fight on the ice with knives on their feet, and whose people are responsible for the Geneva Convention.
We have thousands of miles of uninhabitable wilderness, entire towns that vanished, and stories that were passed down in ink and stone, because saying them out loud felt unsafe.
Between our dives into Canadian cryptids, we’ll be spotlighting the provinces and territories themselves as we talk about the people, and the stories that shape this country.
